Nomuzi Mabena, fondly known as "Moo-zlie" is a young lady from Benoni, a small suburb east of Johannesburg. Her unique look, quick wit and bubbly personality won her the MTV Base VJ Search, as she beat out thousands of young hopefuls for the number one spot. Nomuzi also had a short run on an internet radio station called "Rhythm 100" with a weekly radio show entitled "The Lipgloss Diaries", which became popular amongst many females in and around Johannesburg. Nomuzi is very comfortable in front of a crowd and quite often MC/hosts parties/events around Africa & is also known for her iconic fashion sense that is influential in the African urban youth culture. In September 2014 Nomuzi announced during an interview with sowetan.co.za that she was writing music for her own album to come out in the future, and that she was listening to beats by local producers.
